| Mechanical Root Cutting Our Lumberjack root and tap cutter is a very specialized piece of equipment that uses high pressure water to spin a combination of carbide and chain cutters inside a pipe for removal of unwanted materials. Different from a typical hydraulic root cutter which uses torque to do the cutting this tool uses speed and precision blades. This tool has been used in many miles of pipelines to remove roots as large as 18” in diameter and taps made of PVC, VCP, ABS, and cast iron. |
