Solution
Ted Berry Company provides pipe bursting which is a well-established method that is used to replace an existing pipe in place with a new pipe that has the same or larger diameter. Pipe bursting is a trenchless pipe replacement method reducing excavation by as much as 95%.
Results
City of Saco, Maine recently hired the Ted Berry company to replace approximately 1,000’ of 10†VCP sewer that ran remotely through an easement between two city streets. A new 10†HDPE pipe was installed and total excavation reduced by 95%.
