UV CIPP

1

The Problem

Storm drains and culverts transport streams, brooks and storm water flow under our roadways and through our communities. These are constructed of materials like CMP, concrete, plastic, and in New England even granite. As they fail, the results can be catastrophic, causing sinkholes, erosion into our clean water ways, and damaging roadways.

Solution

UV CIPP (cured in place pipe) is a technology that allows us to structurally rehabilitate an existing pipe maximizing its pipe ID and hydraulic capacity with environmentally friendly CIPP materials and cured with UV light as opposed to traditional methods that use steam and hot water.

Results

Ted Berry Company UV CIPP system recently was used by a New England DOT Highway Department to reline an existing 36” CMP culvert over 50’ deep below a busy interstate. The entire project was completed in one day, on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of the General Contractor and DOT inspector.
